Changing Pace kick starts their summer
Our first year was an amazing experience and we owe it all to God and you , the fans. We played all over the U.S. and were blessed with close to a hundred dates. We enjoyed all the camps, conferences, concerts, and festivals. It was all truly a blessing.
This year has started off with some great new elements that are helping this ministry become a solid part of the kingdom of God. We have been maturing and growing as a band and as musicians which is evident in our improving sound. We have revamped the entire media area of our band and are currently writing a second record, hopefully to be recorded soon. With dates lining up for the summer and fall, we are stoked to hit the road and see all of our fans!
The reason we stated we hope to record the second album soon is because it all depends on you the fans. We will be starting a *Kickstarter* in May to raise money for the next album. If all goes well, we will be recording the new album this summer and releasing it later this year.
Our goals for the year are focused on leading our listeners and ourselves into an intimate musical picture of the living God, through worship and in our day to day lives. With this privilege that has been placed before us, we desire to be used by God in providing some of the best worship experiences possible. We pray the messages, God has given us to share, will strike the hearts of the listeners and be an agent of change in all of our lives. The group is extremely grateful for every chance we get to see all of your faces. We thank God, and, of course you, for the opportunity to travel and minister as we do. So keep listening and supporting us on this journey of our calling.

Changing Pace in Variance Magazine
This past summer Variance Magazine reached out to us about writing up an article on Changing Pace. Variance Magazine covers a range of artists from Kristin Chenoweth to Childish Gambino to the Goo Goo Dolls. So where does Changing Pace fit into that mix? Writer Shayla Eaton declares Changing Pace “continues to push through and shout out about what they believe in and advise others to do the same.”
This is the heart of the band and Variance captured that mission statement perfectly. We pray that folks in the body and out were able to read and discover something different in this issue….a sense of hope and passion. Make sure to read the issue of Variance by heading over to http://issuu.com/VarianceMag/docs/variance-july2011/53.

First Annual Grovestock Fine Arts Festival
Saturday April 28th, Changing Pace will be sharing the stage at the First Annual Grovestock Festival with acts such as Sean Michel, a solid southern Christian rock artist from Little Rock, Arkansas, and Lara Landon, an inspiring acoustic-driven artist from Nashville, Tennessee. Also, to be joining the line-up is Kyle Thurman, a fresh sounding singer songwriter hailing from Hot Springs, Arkansas and about 6 other acts.
The real story and the reason it is such a big deal for Changing Pace is because of the connection. The Festival is being put on in memory of the Drummer’s sister, Kendall Kercher, who tragically died in a car accident in 2009. She was a lover of Christ, artist, mother, and loving family member. This festival shares her passions with lots of art and music, all for the purpose of sharing the gospel.
This festival will bring such attractions as fine arts and crafts. It will have over forty vendors of food, leather-craft, games, art and even self-portrait caricatures. There is also a silent auction taking place for this festival. This event is solely dedicated to deliver a message of the gospel to the viewers, and show the love and beauty of creation and all things under the sun.
